What if I lose my teeth?

Depending on which tooth is missing, your orthodontist may choose to move adjacent teeth together to close the space where the tooth is missing, or make room for a bridge or implant. In this case, the orthodontist will collaborate with your dentist and/or other dental specialists.

What is Gum Disease?

The mildest form of gum disease is gingivitis. Bleeding during tooth brushing is the most noticeable sign of gingivitis. Untreated gum disease or gingivitis can worsen as plaque (dental plaque) spreads below the gum line and may progress to periodontitis. Properly aligned teeth are less prone to gum disease.
